Mejor máquina de presoterapia para casa en 2026: qué comprar y por qué

Best Home Pressotherapy Machine in 2026: What to Buy and Why

by Laura

The short answer. If you're looking for a pressotherapy machine for home use, the most solid choice for most people is a full-leg device with several programs and progressive compression. Among the home full-leg devices we reviewed, priced from just over 200 € to just over 1,000 €, SKINVITY PressTech (979 €) has the most independent compression chambers (8, compared with an average of 4 to 6 in comparable devices), with adjustable compression up to 260 mmHg. It's also the top-rated device in the most recent independent comparison test we found. If budget is tight, there are multi-zone devices (legs, arms, glutes and abdomen) under 350 €, with fewer leg-specific chambers.

Before you buy: what home pressotherapy is for, and what it isn't

Air-compression pressotherapy wraps the legs in chambers that inflate and deflate progressively, from the feet upward. Home use is designed to improve circulation, ease the feeling of tired, heavy legs, help move retained fluids and toxins, and support muscle recovery after exercise.

It's worth being clear about this, because it's where some brands overreach: pressotherapy doesn't slim you down on its own and doesn't magically get rid of cellulite. It can improve how your legs feel and support healthy habits, but it doesn't replace exercise or a balanced diet, and it isn't a medical treatment. If fluid retention or pain is recurring or severe, the answer isn't a device, it's a professional.

How we chose and compared

We haven't personally tested every device on the market. We built this comparison by combining two types of sources: a recent independent hands-on test that analyzed and scored several home pressotherapy devices (May 2026, six models), and each manufacturer's official product specs, checked in September 2026.

The criteria that really set one device apart from another:

  • Zones covered. Full legs (thigh, calf and foot) is the minimum for serious pressotherapy. Some devices add arms, glutes or abdomen with accessories, almost always at the cost of fewer chambers dedicated to the leg.
  • Chambers, programs and pressure. More programs isn't better if you won't use them; what matters is how many independent chambers the device has, whether it offers a sequential mode (bottom to top), and whether the pressure is adjustable.
  • Ease of use. Wireless or corded, how much space it takes to store, and sizes that fit your build.
  • Price and backing. Warranty, technical support and verifiable reviews. On a device worth several hundred euros, buying from a brand with no clear warranty or accessible technical support is risky.

The comparison: PressTech versus the rest of the market

What to look at SKINVITY PressTech Other full-leg devices reviewed
Price (Sept 2026) 979 € Between ~215 € and ~1,050 €. Comparable full-leg devices run 920-1,050 €; cheaper multi-zone options, 300-350 €; the most basic ones, around 215 €
Zones Full legs (thigh, calf, foot), 2 sizes (Regular and Large) Most cover only the legs; some add arms, glutes or abdomen with extra accessories
Chambers and pressure 8 independent chambers, up to 260 mmHg Between 3 and 8 chambers, or adjustable pressure ranges (some in kPa, not always directly comparable), with no single industry standard
Programs 4 programs + 4 compression patterns Between 3 and 8 programs depending on the model
Use Wireless, battery-powered Depends on the model: some are wireless, others run on a cord

What else is out there: the three market profiles

Beyond PressTech, today's home pressotherapy devices fall, in practice, into three profiles:

Premium full-leg devices (920 € - 1,050 €). Usually wireless or very lightweight, with 5 to 8 programs, some aimed specifically at sports recovery rather than tired legs or fluid retention. They're the closest price match to PressTech.

Mid-range multi-zone devices (300 € - 350 €). They add accessories for arms, glutes and abdomen alongside the leg sleeves, so they treat more zones in the same session. In exchange, they tend to be heavier, have fewer leg-specific chambers, and less documented brand and after-sales support than specialized options.

Basic foot and leg devices (under 220 €). Light and simple, with auto shut-off and few programs. Meant for occasional use, not for legs that carry a heavy daily load.

Watch out for cheap calf massagers

On marketplaces and in many lists you'll see "pressotherapy machines" for under 150 €. These are a different product: they massage feet and calves with basic compression, without reaching the thigh or offering a full-leg drainage sequence. They're fine for occasional relief, but they're not the same as a full-leg pressotherapy device. If you compare on price alone, you're comparing two different categories.

SKINVITY PressTech, in detail

Verdict: full-leg pressotherapy with 8 independent chambers, four programs designed for different moments (drainage, circulation, recovery and complete) and adjustable compression up to 260 mmHg, with a battery for cordless use.

Best for: anyone who wants a serious device for regular use, available in two sizes: Regular (123 cm hip circumference, 80 cm upper thigh, 143 cm total length) and Large (145 cm hip, 90 cm upper thigh, 158 cm total length).

In the most recent independent comparison test we found, from May 2026, it earned the highest score in the category (9.75 out of 10), highlighting its full-leg coverage, ease of use, and the immediate feeling of relief. It also adds industry recognition (TELVA Belleza 2025, Universal Beauty Awards 2026) and over 270 reviews on its official product page.

Our final recommendation

If the goal is genuine, regular full-leg pressotherapy, PressTech (979 €) remains, among the options we reviewed, the one with the most compression chambers and the most independent recognition. Comparable international devices are priced in a similar range (920 € - 1,050 €).
