Blanca Miñano, founder and CEO of SKINVITY, has won the Madrid Women Entrepreneurs Award 2026 in the category of greatest potential for growth and projection. It's a recognition granted by Madrid City Council to projects led by women with the most road ahead of them, and it distinguishes SKINVITY from among 174 applications submitted.

Beyond the award itself, it carries a special meaning within the brand's journey: it's the first recognition to distinguish SKINVITY's work as a project, rather than a specific product or its sales channel. Below, what this award is, why it matters, and what it means for a home-use cosmetic technology brand founded and led by a woman.

An award chosen from among 174 projects

The Madrid Women Entrepreneurs Award 2026 recognises the work of women at the head of their own business projects. SKINVITY was selected in the category of greatest potential for growth and projection from among 174 applications, all of them initiatives led by women with ideas of great strength.

In a sector like technology, where investment and development are still mostly in the hands of men, the fact that a home-use cosmetic technology project founded and led by a woman receives this recognition carries added value.

"That we were chosen, out of 174 projects and such powerful ideas, is hard to put into words."

The first award to SKINVITY's work itself

For Blanca Miñano, there's a detail that makes this one of the most significant awards in the brand's journey. It doesn't recognise a device or a sales channel, but the project as a whole and the work built up over the years.

Founder and CEO of SKINVITY
"It's the first award to SKINVITY's work itself, not to a product or our ecommerce. That tells us the work we're doing in women's wellbeing is being recognised, and having it come from such a demanding jury, granted by Madrid City Council, makes it even bigger."

That has been the core of the project from the start: bringing professional cosmetic technology into the home, with safety, evidence and a focus on women's wellbeing at every stage of life. A recognition of the brand's overall work confirms that this approach, technology with purpose applied to women's wellbeing, is understood and valued beyond the SKINVITY community too.

Six years of journey

SKINVITY was born in 2020 in Madrid and has received several recognitions from the wellbeing and cosmetic technology sector over these years. The Women Entrepreneurs Award 2026 also has a personal component for its founder.

Blanca Miñano
Founder and CEO of SKINVITY
"It's the first SKINVITY award I've had the chance to collect in person, after six years. Going up to receive it, in front of so many people I admire, reminded me why I started all this."

Why this recognition matters

An award granted by a public institution and decided by a demanding jury works as external validation of a track record. It doesn't reward a promise, but the real work built up over six years: the decision to bring home technologies that used to be found only in the clinic, the commitment to the evidence behind every device, and the building of a community of women who understand self-care through science and wellbeing.

It also places Blanca Miñano and SKINVITY within the conversation about female entrepreneurship in technology in Spain, a field where there are still few examples of women leading companies that develop their own devices. Every recognition in that direction helps those who come after to have a mirror to look into.

For SKINVITY, the award isn't a finish line, but an impulse to keep bringing professional wellbeing into the home and consolidating its position as a reference in home-use cosmetic technology in Europe.
