El autocuidado es un derecho

What is your level of fabulous self-care (from 1 to 15)?

by Myriam

It's no secret that the vast majority of women almost never have time for themselves and that we tend to be the last on the list of daily priorities. It's a hard truth, especially if we have children. This has been the case for far too long, and so, to avoid feeling guilty about taking time to go to the gym, to take care of our skin, to chat with friends, or for any activity focused on ourselves, we've had to invent, as the well-known psychologist Patri says, a new word: self-care.

El autocuidado es un derecho

In our team discussions, the topic of self-care has come up many times: how much and when we take care of ourselves, how consistent we are, and how women in general take care of themselves. Since one of our shared passions is cosmetics, around here almost all of us base our self-care on it, always combined with innovation. Cosmetic technology has been the icing on the cake of our routines, and the term "self-care" has been the excuse to leave our guilt at the bathroom door and lock it.

Self-care: much more than a trend

We understand self-care as all those actions we take to maintain our physical, mental, and emotional health . For some, it might be creating their own recipe book; for others, dancing until dawn once a month, discovering a new hotel or a new horizon, or contemplating the fire in their own fireplace. Everyone knows what makes them feel good .

Let's reflect together: what is your level of self-care?

With all this in mind, let's play a little game. Assuming that you're here because you also link self-care to cosmetic technology, we invite you to reflect on your level of self-care .

  • 5-7 points: You could dedicate more time to yourself. We know it's difficult; you're a woman with a busy life and a tendency to give 1000% to others. Remember that self-care isn't selfish; it's a right. Consider making small changes to your routine to include more time for yourself.
  • 8-11 points: You're on the right track, but, as Michael Jordan once said, there's always room for improvement. If you haven't yet embraced cosmetic technology , taking advantage of its innovative offerings will take you to the next level, trust us.
  • 12-15 points: Congratulations! You take care of yourself, and it shows. Keep it up, and don't forget to share your self-care secrets with your friends. I'm sure there's someone out there who'd love to discover LED light therapy or pressotherapy .
