Beauty routine: 5 great podcasts to liven it up (Part 2)

by Myriam

We love taking care of ourselves, that's a fact. We enjoy life, we love trying new cosmetic technologies and creating different, pleasurable, and, above all, long-lasting beauty routines. That's why, emulating gourmet restaurants that transform a meal into an experience, we propose transforming your routine into a pleasure for your skin and a delight for you. No more boring, mechanical routines.

Embracing cosmetic technology is a great idea for many reasons. But undoubtedly, one of the reasons we love most is that almost everyone who discovers this new form of self-care ends up taking better care of themselves , with all that entails: dedicating more time to yourself, pampering yourself, and getting to know your skin and body better. Loving yourself more.

As part of our daily conversations, we share our routines: when and how we do them, our favorite devices, what new discovery we're making this week, and so on. A few of us have incorporated podcasts into our self-care—and our lives in general—and we've been compiling a list of recommendations that we want to share with you. We sent you the first part a few weeks ago, and now it's time for the second.

One day you're young https://open.spotify.com/show/1DXeCvTHRSDtvxgRjdjliH n

Its creators, Dr. Ana de la Hoz and businesswoman Chloe Pueyo, define it like this: “One day you are young and the next… it’s better.

They have defined the age range between 27 and 55 as “medianers.” And, as their description states: “Based on scientific studies, personal stories, books, and TV series, these childhood friends answer all your life questions.”

“I like it because they talk about useful things, they explain things very well, they’re well-informed, they get straight to the point, and they provide valuable content . From analyzing the midlife crisis to typical first-world problems like forgetting a password, divorce, job changes, etc. An episode of the podcast lasts as long as it takes me to use Stop Vx2 and the Silicone LED Mask . A delightful beauty routine.”

Total ideal weekly deformity

A unique analysis of reality, presented by Isa Calderón and Lucía Lijtmaer, who offer their distinctive perspective on life and contemporary culture . They won two Ondas Awards in 2020 and their show is one of the most listened to in Spain and Latin America.

At SKINVITY, we've found several colleagues who are fans of this podcast. More than just fans, they're total "fans." It's fun, interesting, and makes any routine more enjoyable . The episodes are long, but you can always split them into two self-care sessions.

Bea Larrea's Revolutionize

We've already talked about Bea Larrea in another blog, because at SKINVITY we are loyal followers, we have her books and we love her advice and wisdom on how to eat well .

In the podcast, Beatriz sheds even more light on how to improve our relationship with food, giving us keys to combat fatigue, stress, inflammation, and aging through diet. Perfect music for any beauty routine, right?

“As you get older, it’s the perfect time to rediscover yourself and learn to take better care of yourself. Listening to this podcast has been a real game-changer ; it’s opened up fascinating topics for me, like intermittent fasting, inflammaging, and food intolerances. Some episodes are only half an hour long, so they fit perfectly into almost any of my self-care routines.”

All About Your Mother by La Forte

The initial idea seems fantastic to us. La Forte, whose real name is Alma Andreu, is a Valencian journalist with immense talent. Ingenious, with a great sense of humor and restless spirit, she explores different communication formats. She's a sensation on social media, and you know we are too.

“As a mother hen and a rebellious daughter, I'm fascinated by everything related to the wonderful bond between a mother and her offspring. And besides, I really like La Forte; she has a great ability to lightheartedly and gracefully address serious topics, taking the edge off life and reality. She's ideal to listen to while tuning into TriPollar Pose , which, because the sessions are longer, lets you listen to entire episodes. The ultimate beauty routine.”

Marian Rojas' podcast

Not to brag, but the icing on the cake of all the recommendations we're giving you to liven up your beauty routine is this podcast about physical and mental health . The highly acclaimed psychiatrist Maria Roja Estapé helps us understand fundamental aspects that affect our physical and mental health every day.

In this podcast you will find “tips for living more harmoniously through knowledge of our body, our mind, our behavior and our emotional world. You will understand that there can be a way to approach 'how to make good things happen to you', you will learn about cortisol, the reticular formation, oxytocin, the prefrontal cortex and you will have the necessary tools to identify the positive people around you.”

Little more to add.

“Everything related to self-care, self-knowledge, and all the self-care practices that benefit us fascinates me . And I always try to find truly expert speakers who explain things well, so I can understand them. The episodes are short; I listen to them while I'm working hard on my Glo or during a pressotherapy session. A beauty routine without a podcast just isn't the same.”
